Thought I'd share an anecdote about some good fortune I experienced this month.

I've got a '67 Barracuda that had a stalling issue this summer. Car's got a rebuilt 340 with an Edelbrock 4bbl. Would stall out going 20 or 30 mph. Then fail to start for about 15 minutes -- pretty sure it was flooded each time. My regular Cuda guy said I'd probably need the carb rebuilt -- and he recommended a guy who's been doing carbs for years, apparently one of the few such people still around.

So I called the carb guy and he said to drop it off at a shop in a nearby suburb. He'd come and pick it up, fix it the shop at his home and call me when ready.

My teen son and I pulled the carb. Took about 10 minutes. Then I dropped it off at about noon on a Wednesday. I'm thinking a few weeks to get this done.

Next day guy calls and says "Come and get it." I roll over, pay $150 cash and head back home.

Bolt the carb back on. Fire up the motor. And off I go!

I'm still amazed at getting next-day service on a carb rebuild.

That's what I call service!!

I watched your video and the next video up was a 10 minute live version of Stairway To Heaven so I got a little sidetracked, lol.
