Sorry guys. I have terrible service at the hotel and am not a fan of hooking up to the hotel internet.

A few abodies and Christine. The black Ram is mine. Popped hood open for ***** n giggles. It’s stock. Hahahahaha. Funny to watch people stop and look in expecting something wicked.

My dad's Cuda and my Dart. We're 100 feet or so south of the judged show tent

I was planning on heading to Denny's tent after lunch. Looks like rain over lunch.

Sprinkling here yet but still scads of people. It's fun watching the trucks get stuck in the lower parking lot by the car corral. It took a John Deere to pull a few of them out.

Sounds like fun. I need to go sometime. A bit of a road trip for me to get there. Convince the wife to take the mini van so i can load it full of parts.

Been walking since early had to walk back to camper to get lunch and rest a minute. And sorry dude, no bo29 cars here. This is me and my brother posing with a Demon. I must say it’s a beast looking machine

Great pics Mike!! If you get a chance, I'd love to see more pics of the Sizzler....Cool car :D
I went back to Denny's tent today but the Sizzler wasn't around. I looked around the show field between showers but didn't see it. Denny knows who it belongs to I bet.

I didn't take as many photos as I usually do. The weather didn't cooperate and when it wasn't sprinkling the spectators were out in droves. I did get a autograph from Butch Leal in @HemiDenny 's tent. Denny and crew are putting the finishing touches on Butch's Hemi Duster.

I just got back from there, we drove up today, it was a pretty thin crowd on Sunday.

I just got home from The Nats. 2 of my good friends from home were having truck trouble, so I pulled their camper home to take some strain off their truck. It had a come and go vibration in the driveline, and he was afraid it was the Getrag 5 spd getting ready to take a dump. I’m pretty sure I spotted it on the way home. The hub on the left front axle must be going bad, cause every now and then the axle would start turning, and I could see it from behind, as I was following them. It quit after a while, and we got home safe and sound.

We just got home about 1/2 hour ago. Had an incident free weekend! Until this morning anyway.... car was running fine when we got to the motel last night. Checked out this morning, hit the key and.... nothing. Knew the battery wasn’t dead but it wouldn’t turn over, click or anything. Jumped the starter solenoid and it cranked but wouldn’t fire. Then I noticed the ignition switch wire connector was smoking when the key was off. I then noticed there was no power to the gauges in the run position but there was in the start position. So I had Marge hold the key in the start position while I jumped the starter and it fired right up.
Oh, on top of all this all my tools were in my truck, at the Nats, 30 miles away. :soapbox:
Well, we headed out for the Nats, rotating my hands and knee between steering, shifting and holding the key in the start position. Lol. About half way there I jammed a screwdriver threw the key ring and under the dash.

No that is knowing your car, and being able to get it moving again.

Thanks! But truth is, I have to give credit to all y’all here on FABO for everything I know about A-bodies! I would’ve been screwed had it not been for the fact that I’ve been on FABO about every single day for the past 5 years!! Lol

I didn’t take many pictures but I’ll post what I took.

A SAWEEEET 1st gen ram. Thankfully it wasn’t a crew cab or I’d still be standing there with drool running down my chin!! :D

A few Duster’s I thought were pretty sick.

A badass ratty Dart that was in the car corral! The interior was every bit as ratty as the outside but they do drive it as was apparent by the sub box hidden under a ratty blanket on the rear floor pan.

Then of course my ratty Duster.

Wish I would’ve taken a picture of the dark green Duster beside mine. That thing was gorgeous! And for sale for $20,500

I laughed at that Swinger and a min. after walking away the guy started it up. It sounded pretty damn healthy!
