Sometime ago someone said 3:91 gears weren’t available in a automatic ‘70 340 Duster. Please see item A31.
Attached is the original window sticker from my Special Order ‘70 Duster. The special order aspect was I ordered it in a color Chrysler advertised as “not available “on Duster models”. I don’t see the color code on the window sticker other than the 09 paint code used to indicate it was a Special Order color. I believe the actual color code I ordered was A4. Freed Bros. in Conshohocken, PA went the extra mile and called Chrysler to make my special order come through for a mere $125.
“Those were the days…”

A4 was a stock color pm for 70. The 1970 Hamtramck Registry - 1970 Paint Chip Charts Slideshow Dang, I wish I had my option books with me.

I could be wrong on the color code ID.
The attached photo is from back in the day. All I know is I went to the area dealers at the time and when they saw the color code I selected they said the factory won’t paint it that color. I finally stumbled onto a newly opened dealership and he said let me have a couple days to talk with Chrysler. Two days later he called me and said Chrysler said they would paint it at an $125 additional cost. Their total price including the special order paint was less than the other dealers who wouldn’t touch the paint option.
