So after buying some new weatherstripping, I found out that that was only part of the issue with my windows not sealing. I went after the doors yesterday to try to do some window adjusting and alignment and got it a little better, but I found that someone in the past had already been in there and replaced some stuff, namely the stud that locates the bottom of the front window channel. I found the part number in the old manuals, but I'm not coming up with anything useful via internet searches and am wondering if anyone knows where to find these. I know I can probably just make something similar and already have an idea in mind for what to do, but if I can get the "right" piece I might want to swap it out at some point. The part is listed as P/N 23-64-40, shown below:

It's just a stud with a hex on the top, but it's also got a ring at the bottom for the nut to tighten against. Curious if anyone out there knows of any vendors that still list stuff with old Dodge part numbers.

that's not the part number its the reference in the parts book to the section in the parts list that will have the part numbers for the various cars. for instance... the same 23-64-40 will have part numbers for Imperial and Plymouth and dodge lines. some of the part numbers will be the same some will be different.

23 is body
64 is Window and Vent Wing
40 is the rod and nut
44 is the retainer

this is from 67 parts book page 23-106 (page 1029 of the pdf)

Ah, that makes more sense. I was thinking that number sequence seemed a bit odd or lacking for a part number. Thanks for the clarification!

Doesn't anyone use a Parts wanted ad any more?

Yeah, I was on the fence with this one. I was more interested in learning how to read the parts manuals first in case I find more stuff down the road that I need to track down. This one was simple enough to potentially make a replacement on that it wasn't critical to source the "correct" parts as much as just curious how to find one if I didn't want to go original.
