I pulled the cam out of my 318 to see what I got. Turns out it’s a Crower cam with grind number M-280-H. Can’t find anything online other than a part number that comes up which is 31100. Anyone have an older catalog or know the specs of this cam. Figured I’d start here rather than wait until the weekend ends to get in touch with Crower direct. Thanks.

A couple keystrokes Mopar Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft - Camshafts
But I see their website is a piece of garbage. Sorry, I usually don't get ticked off very often but when a manufacturer has a crap website designed no wonder why they don't do big business. Rant over, carry on. Cripes, their search box doesn't even come up with any specs.

Believe me Crower does big business... Maybe not to websurfers but to real racers and engine shops they are a primary source for parts.

My race motor had all Crower stuff when new.

Ya I was a little hard on their website. They have been around for a half century selling quality parts.

I have a 1993 Crower Cam book, I don't see the part number, but a couple of 280H grinds

Sterling is that 280 h the same in both places?
In the online catalog a 278h "Torque Beast" is a reboxed 204-214 cam for both LA and BBM same with 288h @214-224
OP PM Dart19666 at Crower can look for my old White Crower catalog but it's not going to say more than the one Sterling has
One thing about crower they make it real easy to match up springs and components
I used to use 281 HDP for stock manifold builds but do not see it in online catalog
I think most of the good MOPAR lobes are not in the catalog
if you do PM ask him if their advertised is .005 or .006???

Wyrmrider, looking at the page, there are 2 282HDP cams and 1 280HDP cam. Part # 31204 seems very close to the old Direct Connection Purple Stripe .474 lift cam.

I believe that’s the old “Monarch” 280.

I put one in my 440 in 1981.
The BB version was
280/280
224/224
.460/.460
110lsa

I thought it was a decent little cam.

I printed those pages the other day and spotted the two 282 HDP listings with the same part number for the Big block pgs 98&99
only see the 280 HDP on pg 95 small block
a 280 h you would think would be single pattern DP dual pattern but Crower is not consistent
Lets hope it's not just a white box cam like the 278H Torque Beast and 288H Power Beast which are both dual pattern cams without the DP
Crower makes my head hurt
but I've used their custom grinds quite successfully , and use the 281HDP as about the biggest I'd go with stock manifolds (112 LCA to hold down the overlap)
best I ever did with stealth stock manifold build was less seat timing than stock, 218 @.050 .525 lift had to idle stock
Monarch have not heard of that one for years
best to talk with Shane
any idea if Crower uses .005 or .006?
PRH compare that Monarch with even a 268 comp and you might know how much I like that comp, we've come a long way

Thought I’d close this post out. I called Crower and the specs are the same as the big block part number 32100 for big block and 31100 for the small block. Monarch M280-H grind. Same specs as big block. 280/280 224/224 at 0.50 .465 lift intake and exhaust 110 LSA 106 ICL.

I guess my memory from 39 years ago was off .005” on the lift.
