If you have any police officer friends, they can run the VIN.

Maybe you can check if my 71 demon came through your hands. It was black in and out, 340 4spd, 3.91s w sure grip. Sold in the buffalo NY area in 1977.
VIN was LM29H1B382210. Thanks.

I had a black one we stripped years back. It was a floor shift manual trans That was the reason I bought it. When I got the car it was primered gray sitting in a salvage yard. Black on black car when we towed it in it had no drive train. I bought the car in Troops Creek NY at ( Troops Creek Auto Parts ) On route 36 lots of old mopars still there.

I bought two 71 340 Dusters there also. One was red and had huge flared quarters on it. sold it toi a member on this site. Walt I didn't keep the numbers of cars that were cut up. There was no reason to back then. I was bringing them home from Ohio stretching to the Jersey shore and from North Carolina to Water town NY. Every other week in the 80's.

I do remember this car, Being it was black on black originally. Most of my cars I street raced were black back then. I may still have some parts from it. Nothing to confirm it being your car.

Do you recall if it had a bench seat or buckets?
