Lost an alternator bolt, anybody know the spec?

In doing the water pump job on my '74 Dart 318, I've misplaced the long bolt that goes through the mounting bracket. Looked in my truck, Dad's truck, both of my toolboxes, the blast cabinet, etc. Does anyone know the specs on that bolt?

3/8"/16 , you can measure the length . Grade 8 or better , please .

I also like to use a self locking nut

its called a "prevailing torque nut" most good hardware stores will have them

I'd washer both ends too.
