is there any one else running a Mallory distributor in there 1970 duster? if so, which side of Ballast Resistor did you hook up red wire from distributor? I am assuming it would be where the blue and brown wire are at on the ballast resistor! the way I read wiring dia. the brown wire comes from IGN. switch with 12V to ballast resistor and back thru blue wire to coil (+) to start the engine and then, it looks to me that the power (12V) come from field side of alternator and goes thru Ballast Resistor to + side of coil to keep engine running!
