I have for sale a manual steering box that came from a 68 Dart GTS. This is not the original box from this car. At some point, many years ago, it put used to replace the P/S setup. This box is being sold as a rebuildable care as the sector shaft and steering shaft seals are leaking because gear lube was put in sometime in its life. It carries P/N 2537349-2. The date code on the cover shows F1018G, so it looks like an October 18, 1970 date for an early 71 model year car. The box is fairly clean and doesn’t appear to be damaged at all. It was checked and it is a 24:1 ratio box as it has just over 5.5 turns lock to lock. This box has the smaller 1.11” sector shaft as all 62-76 A-Body manual steering boxes have. This box will also fit the 62-72 B-Body and 70-74 E-Body cars. It also comes with the pitman arm nut and washer. I would like to get $40.00 for the box plus the shipping. For an extra $5.00 each, I can include the pitman arm and idler arm. Both appear to be in great shape with the studs in each being fairly tight.
