A friend of mine is up there with a 68 or 69 GTS 383 car getting it scored. He and his wife took another one there last year or so and scored 997.
JW and Angela Hames had the Y2 69 Dart at the show this year scoring their third straight Gold award. Just as impressive as the 69 Blue Dart that took Gold last year, this yellow Dart was recognized with an even more prestigious award. From all of the Dodge products shown this year at the show, it was selected as "The Best Dodge" for the first year showing.
The attention to the minute details is the thing that sets the cars that comes out of their shops above those of many other restoration shops. It is my pleasure to work with them as I know that they will do everything to make the car as correct as possible. Wow! I can't believe that's the Car Craft Giveaway '69 Dart Swinger! And still in its promo paint! That's totally awesome! I have wondered about the whereabouts and whatever happened to that car for years.
I drove 10 hours to the MCACN show last year and it was worth every hour of the drive.
I cancelled my trip this year, now I'm really kicking myself for not going just to see the Car Craft Cragar Giveaway Dart.
