Anxious to see what his car runs tomorrow. He copied everything i have on my motor..cam, heads, intake, convertor, etc
Except its a stock shortblock 71 340. Hoping it runs good for him. First outing. Test and tune got rained out tonight, 1/8 mile race tomorrow, no 1/4 like it would have been tonight. Was hoping it would run 11.70-80’s in bad air

Awesome! I remember when I bought my 340 swinger in 1978 I brought it home and showed my brother who had a 70 383 roadrunner pistol grip my 340 swinger was also A4 speed car both of us had 323 rear ends. He turned up his nose at my little small block. he had beat a lot of cars with his roadrunner over the last couple of years and was pretty cocky. I had been racing dirt bikes as a young man and knew how to get the most out of a motor long story short I beat him three times in a row by about 3/4 of a car length every time I was pretty sure he was going to kick my *** LOL I mean literally. Have fun!

Went 014 red in 3rd round to end my day.
Little bother had converter issues. Only flashes 3200. Supposed to be 5k
Need to call and see why he missed it so bad

Had a blast. Lots of fun and didn't hurt anything.
Got to see Clay Millican pilot Dom and Bobby’s, Lagana racing top fueler, among lots more Nitro stuff.
Great to see the stands completely packed
