Saw one car that was like mine originally from the factory.
Hope you guys don't mind. I am saving all these photos to a file. They will never be lost. LOL
Dang, Facebook is a little better. You can comment on individual photos. If any of you are on Facebook and want to join in send me a friend request. Mike Weidner from Waterloo Iowa. Keith, Ramie, (me)Mike, Mike (from Canada) and a few others are on there.
Any more photos or memories?
Sorry, I didnt snap any pics this year.
Here's a link to Keith's thread: 2018 FABO Meet-N-Greet June 1-3 MoPars in the Park Farmington MN
It was a really fun weekend..
I forgot this one I think.
Nice video shot of the A body and surrounding cars. My orange 71 is in the beginning shot next to the yellow duster with the mags. Fun show and a great A body turnout this year! I remember when I had my 73 340 sport there were a handful of Abody cars that showed up, that was back in the late 80's early 90's when it started out at the Dodge of Burnsville dealers parking lot. It sure has grown!
I didn't get a lot of photos, But I DID get Catherine Bach (Daisy Duke) to pose for a photos with my van! Jake won her over first with his RC car and then she saw my van sitting outside and said to bring it in the building so she could pose with it. Totally made my whole weekend! Stacy & Marie both really liked her too. She was super-nice!
And memories were made!
I just heard word that the 2019 Mopars in the Park will be held at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Lake Elmo Minn. I will confirm this when a official notification is published. tmm
I had not heard that yet either. I am unfamiliar with the area so do not know if that is a better venue or not? I was not up to speed yet on all things FABO last year so did not get to meet all y'all. Wife and I make the trek to the show every year. I look forward to meeting folks this next year. This forum has just been an absolute hoot and a gold mine of info.
Well, I'll leave a little earlier, and put a few more miles on. Thanks for the heads up Mike!
doesn't look like there is any place to camp there.
We were talking about that. I haven't checked it out but I don't believe there is camping on site.
The WPC club held their National Meet there a few years ago. I'm a member of the local region that hosted it. All I remember was it was HOT with little shade and lots of dusty roads.
This is off their web site. May 31 - June 2, 2019 Midwest Mopars in the Park National Car Show and Swap Meet held at the Dakota County Fair Grounds in Farmington, MN
They are not the fastest at updating their site. It will change when they make it official, I'd think.
If this is true, I live about 8 miles from there and I have 1 spare bedroom with a queen bed available. I also have a huge finished basement if you have blow up mattresses etc... I'll open it up to guests coming from a distance for the show.
Sounds like it will be better than shakopee but worse than Farmington.
They better get it figured out quick, a lot of people have rooms booked and campsites reserved. And if changes need to be made, it would be nice to have a little heads up
I’ll rent your room Ramie!
