Anybody that hangs out here planning on attending? My favorite racing event/ show of any kind every year.
Almost 500 race cars last year made the call for first round in the various classes.
This will mark the second year the wife and i will sponsor an 11.50 index race thats contested on Saturday at the event. 20 buck entry, 750 to win, 350 runner up, 150 semi’s and 75 quarters. We enjoy it, The guy who puts on this event does a great job and we are tickled to give back a tiny bit.
Hope to meet some guys from here this year. Might see you in line eating a pound of ice cream they sell for a buck. Still cant believe they do that lol.... Norwalk is a special venue.

Best strip for spectating I've ever been to, and I've seen a few. Will be there with a buddy and a couple teenagers in tow, but no cars (sadly).

The show field is fine. It is on the spectator side of the track along with the swap meet.

Probably see you in both classes in the lanes. If yours is the car i think it is, think you took me out couple of years ago when i was racing my 71 White Duster. We had a time trial together, and raced in second or third round.
      Is it light green?

Frankly a person has to be a super casual drag racing fan to not have heard of Norwalk. Easily one of top 2 or 3 venues in the country
This event is the largest Mopar only drag race in the country

It's more race oriented than show. The show field parking is on grass but there are 4-5 1/4 mile long asphalt paved lanes with grass between them for parking. The race pits on the other side of the track are 100% paved. The swap meet is decent. I'll be camping with my 64 Valiant and hoping to make some fun runs to get ready for the Clay City /6 race in September. My nephew brings lots of his home brew and they set up a mini tent city. His buddy runs an Indy small block black Cherokee that does the 4 foot wheelies.
I've been to a lot of tracks and the Baders run a first class facility. Don't forget to get your pound of ice cream for a buck!

It was a fun class, I just couldn't quite run the number. Had to make some changes to the car that may have slowed it a bit, we'll have see how it runs. I did go three rounds last year!

Gary -- what will you have there? We'll be in the spectator parking lot. Plan on going both Friday and Saturday. Gonna order some clutch stuff from Brewer for properly putting the 360 in the D/Dart. Not many Mopar shows down here in Florida. We usually go to the Nats but decided to change it up this year. Almost went to Carlisle but our plans changed. I'll probably have a Garlits shirt on. Alan and Nancy

Al, same car as last year just a different hood. I was hoping to have the dart ready but ran into some delays. I'll be there fri, sat and sun. See you there.

        Weather looks good for Norwalk.
Cant wait. My favorite week of the year. Leaving real early Thursday morning from Michigan.
Should be three great days of racing

We'll be there for sportsman and 11.50 index. Don't know how far we'll get cuz we haven't made a clean pass all year. The car is jinxed

Wish I could go, work is killing me. I haven't been and wonder what swap meet action is going on. I want to find some 69 barracuda headlight surrounds, if someone spots some and picks them up I will pay a nice finders fee!!!
