I recently went to San Antonio car club website and noticed no new events for 2026. Every year we had a mopar show around October. A flyer was always put out in advance. Now nothing!? Anyone know of anything coming up?

From their website, I'm sure you could message them to find out.
I did message the club rep twice she has a email address never responded. I may have to try calling her instead. There used to be like 3 or 4 mopar club reps. Now down to one!:( Site also is less info too. Sad.

Definately not a lot of information on the Lone Star Mopar Fest 2026 event. I saw something that said Oct. 2-3 this year, but no location information. I was actually hoping that we could gather up a lot of the Texas FABO members for a meet and greet at this event - but we need to see some details.
I signed up for information/details a month or so ago and have yet to see anything.

Funny....it seems the Dallas Mopar Nationals which is also in October has been "bought out" by someone else.....they are saying it will now be around the Gasee Monkeys spot North of Dallas.......been going since the first on in the 80's but we've been talking and not going.....mostly 90's and up cars and the new ones now.

Lost interest in Gas Monkeys' BS after head fool, Richard, jumped on roof of a 4 door mid 70s Plymouth & caved it in & smashed the glass out of it. After someone told him 4 doors aren't cool enough to work on.
After that the jerk got rewarded with a contract with ,I assume, Stellantis to do sales pitches. Total jerk.

He was an *** clown way before that.

That's what I always thought. Aaron's fab skills & others, was the only thing that kept me watching, until that foolishness. Richard was always a full of it, self important mouthpiece salesman douche.

The clubs president, Sylvia, can be slow to respond to email. I’m on the clubs email list and get all their upcoming shows. Unfortunately for me, a lot of the stuff is in San Antonio and it’s a little bit of a drive for my Duster with its 4.11 gears and no overdrive. If you want to PM me your email address I will be happy to forward you the the latest email with upcoming events. The club had been meeting twice a month at Biff Buzby‘s on the north east side, not sure if that’s still ongoing, but the club email will tell you. There’s a big Mopar show coming up on 24 October at the frontier burger. Let me know, Tom

Club members also usually attend the monthly get together held by Gateway classic cars in New Braunfels. It’s a very friendly group and they will be happy to share information with you if you walk up and start talking to anyone in the club.

I could see an occasional trip by going thru Marion Tx to go slower and avoid the Interstate, but too often would get old, for sure.

I’m going to be swapping over to 3.55 gears and get rid of the 4.10 center section. I’m trying to finish up another automotive project before I tear into my duster, so I don’t have two cars sitting on jack stands unusable. I’ve been fighting some back issues which have really slowed my progress down. I would like to think I’ll have the duster ready for the October show, but who knows at this point.

FYI about the Dallas Autorama show - the building it has been in is not booking anything more shows/things and owners are looking to tear it down....

Why are we so wasteful, as to tearing down functional buildings, when maintenance is far less than demolition and building new, in almost every way. Elsewhere there are buildings hundreds of years old that still have many more years of useful life left. Ridiculous.

Check out the Cowtown Mopars Performance page on FB and read the comments. Your answer may be there.

Looked & found nothing about its' demo. But I'm not a facebook member.
Not getting demo'd yet - the owners of the land/building are getting their ducks in a row by cancelling the shows - lots of other stuff goes thru there like RV's - Hot Tubs - Car auctions and the like......it's getting heavy push back here in Dallas..........
