Factory Mopar auto shifter for 727. Cable operated. Truck application originally. Brutally
solid construction.
I was going to use in my DeSoto by mounting in dash but could be used on floor or console also.
This shifter is in great mechanical shape. Works smooth and very precise.
Great cosmetically also not beat up or pitted. Has a much better feel than most aftermarket
auto shifters I have had. Not clumsy at all. Positive firm clicks for every position.
Locks firmly in park. Move lever left and rear to select any gear or neutral.
Push forward and it has solid tight clicks that differentiate each gear.
Then locks at neutral to prevent accidental shifting into reverse.
Move lever to the left and forward to get reverse where it locks again to prevent accidentally shifting into park.
Move lever to the left and forward locks it in park.
I bought this for a project and ended up going 4-speed when I found the clutch pedals.
I could have bought a number of aftermarket shifters but this one I liked the feel of better, you can tell its built to last.
No button or levers to fumble around with. Once you use this one time you will know why I like these shifters. Has that 60s look for a older car.
Like I said it has no buttons or release levers just a gate so if you leave kids in your car
they will figure it out and be able to shift it as easy as you can. You can see how it is gated
in the photo. Shift ball is fixed by a set screw if you had thoughts of adding a custom knob.
110.00 shipped to lower 48 states.
