I'm assisting a widow dispose of some of her late husband's things. She has at least a dozen of the large scale models (1/18?) In very plain white unopened boxes. The only thing on the outside is a year and Mopar Nationals printed on the flap. Only a few are opened. The tape is slit on the outside white box but the actual model boxes are untouched. Most are from the 1990's. IIRC, the 1995 version is a double car set with the T/A and AAR E-bodies.

She asked me what they're worth but I don't have a clue.

if i remember correctly they did a run of them from 94 to 2009 i think
my late date had a set and we sold them to a diecast car guy for 1200$ worth more than that ,but he had to make some $$ also
they are worth some coin if you have the paper work with them and they all have the same numbers, as in they only made so many and you could get the same production number dads was 1211 . so of the cars are worth more than others ,depends on year
i think there are 14 or 15 in the sets last few years they made them out of matchbox cars but still charged same price as the 1/18th scale cars
i think price was 50$ when you bought them each.

Some Ertls most likely and others will he Highway 61. The Challenger set is. It will definitely pay to research this before posting for sale. Find out how many of each produced. Also might be more lucrative to sell as a lot.

Supercar Collectibles does buy collections but they wouldn't pay as much.

Thank you for all the responses!

My GF took 6 to her house and I reopened the shipping boxes to see what was inside.

They ALL contain certificates of authenticity, copies of window stickers of the actual cars they modeled, and receipts showing what he paid. ($50-55 each) None of the internal boxing was ever opened.

My GF's cousin (the guy who bought all these) owned a purple 1970 Hemi Cuda in the 70s but had to sell it. The widow said he regretted it everyday afterwards.

My son's favorite Mopar of all time is a F6 A13 69 Superbee and my grandson loves Dodge Daytonas so maybe I'll buy those from her.

not true without pics?
I don't have to prove anything to anybody.

The guy ordered them every year, opened to inspect, resealed with packing tape, and put them on a shelf. Each one contains his original receipt, COA, and reproduction window sticker. The boxes are mint. Some of the ones on Ebay show shelf wear.

The most interesting to me is the Dealer Set issued in 2000. A white T/A and a black AAR packaged together.
