Mopar super stock springs for my Duster

I have a new pair of P3690456 & P3690457 (3400 lb) springs laying here that I was planning to use in my street strip Duster build, but I’m starting to wonder if I should look into buying the 002-003 spring instead. In the last Duster we built we used the 002-003 springs and when I took it to the track it hooked up great, even though it had radial street tires on it. I’m on a tight budget and don’t have a lot of liquid cash, but I’m not sure the 3400lb spring will work the way I want it to.

Try it and report back. You’ll be one of the few that will actually KNOW the difference. FWIW, those are the springs in my ‘71 Duster now but I’m no where near ready to roll.

I also have the lighter set under the 002/003. Those are intended for the car actually.
