It's time to start getting ready for The Rock! First Mopars @ The Rock show will be on Saturday, April 5th. The second Mopars @ The Rock show of the year will be on Saturday, November 15th. The dragstrip is now owned by Mopar guys....and it shows! They have stepped it up to have the Mopars at The Rock show twice a year now. You can click the link below to see the flyer and prices. Just spoke to the Missis about what we're doing on the 5th. She said "good we can stop in Society Hill to look at furniture" so.... Thanks? That's cool, she gats a dinette set and I get W2 heads. :lol:
 
I have a bench seat removed from a 68 barracuda.
It is a good core.
Fold down arm rest.
If anyone is interested I can deliver it to Rockingham

Tell her you gotta be sitting at the back gate at 7:30 am so you can get in and find parts. Then stop at the furniture store on the way back! :)

Way ahead of ya buddy. We're leaving Friday and may be there all weekend. The drags, not the furniture store.:thumbsup: Maybe I should say races with todays lingo and all. Hell, I don't even know if I can say that.:rofl:

Left out early Sat. morning got there around 7:30. Found some good stuff. More about that latter. My wife was not feeling well. I gotta give her props though. She got up and threatened to go with me. She needed rest because she stared getting sick around Tuesday, so I told her to stay home. And our 15 yr. old Pitty AKA Harley, is not doing well. Not sure how much time we have left with him. He sure has been a good dog. Defiantly a momma's boy. The pics...4th of July a couple years ago, checking out the hot dog platter for him and his brothers & sisters. Him as a pup and then just chill-n on the back porch with Layla That one is probably about 5-6 yrs ago. I sure will miss him and his big personality.

Even though I went alone, I had a great time and met some really good people. Picked up a few items at the swap meet. No W2 heads but I did find a set of clean freshly rebuilt J heads. That may or may not have come with "72" unmolested, steel crank 340. OK, they did. (me grinning ear to ear) and for my current build an unused RPM/AIRGAP intake for over a hundred less that buying it new. Good day at the swap-meet. The steak tacos were tasty also. I was impressed with the prices, not at all NASCAR like. A double shot on the rocks wasn't even $20 bucks. I haven't been to Rockingham Dragway in a while (years). I am impressed the place looks great.
