This thread is for posting pictures of MoPars that are smashed, junked, rotting, abandoned....or simply just left for dead.

A while back I believe I started a thread for pictures like this, but so many great threads were deleted over the years, seems like the more the site is upgraded the more we lose the old stuff, so I’m resurrecting this thread and let’s get some cool pictures up again!!

I guess you might as well. These are probably incidental pics that you come across when searching for Babes! LOL

Taken 3 weeks ago. When I first saw it years ago there was no tree on the driver's side. 35000.00 cash couldn't buy it back then, I'm going to fix it !!!!!!

was at our local wrecking yard doing some scrounging. Here is a few pics from the mopar section! They have 80 acres of mostly old stuff.

My Duster was left for dead back in the early 80's. We had to cut trees down to get it pulled out of its resting place. Should finally come back to life this spring.

This one is my sons 70 340 Dart. It was purchased from the 2nd owner who owned it since early spring 1970. He still had some of the original dealership paperwork with the car including the original owners name. It was sold new from Quality Dodge in Kansas City Kansas in December 1969. Its had one repaint in the late 70's but is an original plum crazy car with black vinyl top and a white stripe. As you can see the pack-rats made a nice home out of it for several decades along with a few snakes. They chewed up the wires, belts, and hoses but amazingly the original build sheet was fully intact under the front bench seat! We plan on keeping the original color combo but are more day two guys so we plan on mini tubbing it and basically using my Duster as the blueprint for the suspension. The first four pictures of it are from about 12 years ago when I first came across the car. Then the rest from when we finally bought it and cleaned it up.

Hmm. She looks cute, but I don't think I want to meet her, given her apparent driving history.

Hopefully someone bought this car and saved it... perfect patina! If I remember correctly it was somewhere in North Carolina? Anyway it was for sale with other cars in the salvage yard years ago.

Here's one that was pretty cool back in the day a 73 Twister that I sort of brought back from the dead. It was wrecked by the high school kid that owned it in the late 70's. He held on to it wanting to fix it up but it never happened. The car was blown apart at some point then was left for dead. I ended up getting it out of a GM salvage yard but thankfully a lot of the parts taken off the car came with it. Believe it or not as bad as the core support and inner fenders looked the front frame rails were not damaged or out of place. I ended up selling it to a retired sheriff in Missouri that planned on restoring it as a retirement project.

These were all taken last year, and they are all available to purchase. Or just parts too if that’s what you need.
