Mason Dixon Speedway owner Joe Conn killed after his truck hit two other vehicles

Mason Dixon Speedway owner Joe Conn died as the result of a vehicle accident Monday night on Interstate 68 in Maryland.

Maryland State Police said they received many 911 calls around 9 p.m. Monday night for a pickup truck going the wrong way on Interstate 68 near Friendsville, Maryland.

While troopers were responding, the truck was in a collision with two vehicles: a Toyota Prius and a Dodge Journey.
