I have been wanting to change to a more vintage looking tire on the front of my 68 fastback.
I have mickey Thompson sportsmans up there now but want to switch to a square corner
Bias ply look from back in the day. I see Firestone drag 500s in a lot of old photos of the super stock barracudas. Still haven't been able to find a pair of those like I want. Wish they were being reproduced.
I believe the moroso drag specials can still be bought new is why I am asking about this particular tire.
If anyone has any experience with this type of tire and cares to share I would be glad to know more about these before I commit to a purchase.
Things like. Size?, like/ dislike? Get these instead? All comments welcome as I am unfamiliar.
Will be mounting on old ansen slot mags 15x4 1/2" or Fenton 15x3 1/2" depending on what the tire needs.
Pictured are the 4 1/2" ansens that I would prefer to use. Sorry for the bad pictures.
It was cold dark and dusty where car is stored.
Pictures of what your running or have laying around would be great.
