Moroso valve cover gasket question

Morosso 93050 silicone valve cover gaskets, installing on edelbrock heads with Mopar Performance cast aluminum valve covers and and noticed the top bolt bosses area on the gasket some what interfere with the cylinder head. See attached pics. I went ahead and removed some material off the gasket but I am wondering if that was even necessary. Searched the forum and couldn’t find a post so I am wondering if this is even something to worry about or will the gasket just conform?

So take a pair of dykes and snip some off.

Yes, had to do this on mine with same head / valve cover combo.

On some combo's, some trimming may be needed.

Thanks fellas! Trimmed to suit, valve covers are on and felt much better torquing down after removing material. Had to clearance the valve covers as well

You did a nice job on the valve covers. They almost look made that way.

I was very careful, used a
4 1/2” grinder with a worn out fine grit flapper wheel than used hand file to finish
