motor mount question

will these from summit be any different than from car quest? carquest one are made in india, dunno where summit ones are made.

i just need to see if this will lower my engine a little bit. right now im using poly lock engine mounts and they are much thicker than your stock biscuit, engine is too high.

That's a good question. Back when I worked at a parts store in the 90s, no brand I could buy was worth a crap. They were all junk that pulled apart easily on a good engine. The only ones I could ever find that held together were actually Chrysler OEM.

For the price, I'd bet they're junk.

well, i guess im doomed then...what about solid mounts?? they good for a street car? too much vibration? not enough give? thoughts?

On my last car, I put a rubber mount on the passenger side and a solid mount on the driver's side.

Just use those and install a torque strap.
