Mr.gasket Mls head gasket opinions wanted

This gasket came out of the package this way. Notice some of the coating has come off.
You can literally rub your finger on it and it will ball up.
Is this normal for this gasket? Would you use it or send them back.

Sent it packing. Not worth the hassle of doing it a second time because of gasket failure.

Did the packaging look like it had been exposed to moisture? A month or so ago I got some 390 FE steel head gaskets from Mr G and it looked like they had been in a flood!

Could be that there was moisture but they are sealed in plastic.
Gonna return them and go with a custom cometic.

I used a set of them on my mild 408 and they weren't like that
