What's the difference between these two distributors?

8546
8387

I will be running a Blaster 2 coil and 6AL box

8387 is "Ready to run" meaning you don't need a CD ignition box like the 6AL to use it. Its a 3 wire hookup but you don't get the features of a 6AL like CD and rev limiter. You can use a CD box with it if you want too.

If your going to use or already have the 6AL buy the 8546 distributor and save $100.

The 8546 does look like the part number I need

I have a 6AL box and a Blaster 2 coil
