Msd Blaster Coil Mounting

Anyone Ever Heard Of Haveing To Mount This Coil Upright ?, Ive Been Told That When There Mounted On The Side The Oil Does Not Cool It Like It Would Than If It Was Up Right?

True. MSD does offer an epoxy filled version of the Blaster 2 that you can mount in any oreintation.

I got mine in the stock bracket. Been there for 2 years.
Haven't had a problem yet.

Mine is mounted Horizontal. But you do make a good point Frank... :scratch:

I know they recommend mounting them upright. I've had mine mounted sideways for 13 years and no problems. I hope I didn't jinx myself.

THANKS FOR THE INFO GUYS, I HAD 1 GO BAD A FEW WEEKS AGO, ILL LEAVE IT IN THE STOCK BRACKET, AND HOPE FOR THE BEST :scratch:
