Mufflers?

I just got the Demon going. 340, 6-71, 2-750 holleys, long tube headers, x-pipe and all 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust. My current mufflers are Flowmaster 40's. I have to tell you, the increase in noise coming from these things compared to when I was running a N/A engine is mind boggling. The noise is unbearable for the wife and I can barely hear the blower.

What are you guys running for mufflers to lower the noise a little?

Is that in a blower application?

If you like the Flowmaster sound, just install a couple small mufflers or resonators before the Flowmasters. Something like a Magnaflow or Dynomax bullet would work.

Do you have Tail pipes ? My 77 Aspen was the same till I added the tail pipes

my suggestion is to keep the flows and install the dynas too.
