I've owned a lot of B-bodies and a few E-bodies. Have built several 70-71 Cudas for a customer for the last 15 years. Have owned a few A-bodies but nothing cool and never put any real money into one. I have always love the 70-2 Darts and pick one up a few years ago.
It is a 72 Dart that had 70-1 quarters and fenders. Was mini-tubbed and the springs moved in. Here is what it originally looked like and how it was when I bought it.

Converted it to a 4-spd but now getting the Passion 855 5-spd for it.
Pick up a 5.9 Magnum 380hp crate motor with about 200 miles on it.
Put a carb on it but decided to go with a Fast EFI.

Fixing to order up some TTI shorty headers.
Has a Flaming River 16:1 manual steering box.
Has 73 Spool K-frame that has been powder coated.

Was a factory undercoated car so I clean the underside really good and gave it a fresh coat of paint.
Installed torque boxes and frame connectors from US Car Tool.

Also doing manual 4 wheel disc brakes.
I like installing the motor and K from under like the factory did.
Decided I didn't like the long tube headers

Spent a few hours on the grill. Cleaning the black plastic. Masking and painting the silver. Really happy how it came out.
Got the bumper and valance on. A guy on here made up some front spoilers so I snagged one. I love the look.

Looks good. In one shot it looks like you left the core support the body color, in a later shot it looks to be blacked out like OEM. Nice work.
I prefer the stock color though! I love the B5 and B7 blues. Your car, your choice. If you are happy, that is the important thing.
You actually took delivery of the 5 speed? It isn't coming soon like so many other guys are being told?

No the core is painted green. Haven't decided to black it out or no. Not going for anything "correct"
I'm really happy with the Sassy Grass but also like blue. If I ever get around to painting my 72 Satellite it is going to be bright blue.
On the tranny, there is a way around the "list". I know Jamie and have been on the list for years but picked up one last summer bypassing the list. Getting the A-body one in a few weeks.

I know. Been lurking for a while but to be truthful this site is so big it can be a bit over whelming .

Haven't updated my thread for a couple years. Man, been that long?
Pretty much done with the front suspension. It's from a 73. 11.75" disc. Boxed the LCAs. 1" t/bars. C body tie rods with billet sleeves.
Hope to get a larger sway bar later.

Did do the TTI shorties. Real happy with them.
Got the wiring done. I made my own motor harness with some upgrades.
Put the headlights on relays.
