This is going to be a picture heavy thread. I bought this 64 Dart with a 170 slant 6 3 on the tree when I was 16. It was my daily driver all the way up until my senior year of high school.

This is the day My dad and I brought it home.

We did a lot of body work to it after school, and on the weekends for a few months. (yes I drove it to work and school looking like this)

Finally, it was time for primer!

After a few weeks, we finally got to paint it. It looked pretty good, and I drove it for a while happy with it.

Then I got some new rims.

Then I got a new car, and the dart was taken off the road. It took along time (a few years), but I finally decided I wanted to redo the paint, and swap in a v8 into. After collecting all the required swap parts, slowly but surely. It was time to start!

First some more body work!

THEN OUT WITH THE SLANT!

I put in an 8 3/4, and my dad turned the three on the tree to a floor shift.

Nice. The switch to red paint will surely draw the cop's radar guns, as will the Cherry Bomb exhaust. Always amazing how different these car's look w/ bigger alloy wheels. With the factory 13" steel wheels, they look dumpy.

You should try and find some more reasonably offset rear wheels so you can fit them in the wheel well and lower the back some!
