MY FIREWALL INSULATION PUSH PINS ARE LOOSE....SUGGESTIONS?

Hi Folks

DMT insulation kit.

The push pins are loose in the holes and can easily be pulled out. Any tricks to tighten them up?

If it’s the ones I’m thinking. You can push a small wooden dowel in the middle of the “hat” side to push it outward once in place. This will help kinda like a plastic wall insert for a house and you screw in the middle to hand a photo.

Or you can just get some appropriately sized "Christmas trees" and use those.

Yeah like Rob said take one pin for sizing purposes to hardware store. Grab a few extra, I always mangle them if I have to remove them.

I never realized there were so may different sizes.
