It is with much regret that I make this post.....

After 20 years of working here at Layson's, my body says it's time to give it up....my wage earnin days are done. The arthritis just won't let me do the job any longer. Trying to rehab has not been as good as what I hoped it would be. And I'm starting to have a couple of other "issues" starting to set in besides that. I've been undergoing tests, but nothing specific yet.....this gettin old crap is just that.....

So this is my official "I'm old, I'm tired, and I'm retired" notice.

I'm in the process of packing up and getting ready to move back to the midwest where the living is cheaper and my SS check will go a whole lot farther than it will here in Washington.....so I won't be able to respond to any messages/inquiries here on FABO/FBBO.

Finally getting all sorted out and settled in, and got an interweb connection going.

Also got a request in to change my username now that I'm no longer "working".....

Hopefully, my new username will be "JustPlainRick"

The old van made the trip here in fine shape, no issues what-so-ever. Got me right about 13mpg@70-75mph loaded with everything I could fit in it, so I was rollin heavy for 1900 miles...heh

Damn-neart every gas station I stopped at, somebody was either checking the old van out, or wanted to buy it right there on the spot. From some of the numbers throwed at me, I just might've sold it if it wasn't loaded......

I had the old Dart shipped here, so I still have something to absorb any extra cash I might run across......

Oh man....I retired in 06 @55 but I started working mowing yards at 12 and then went to work with my dad at 14 building houses. Uncle Sam got me 6 years later. Down hill from there. Hope the rest of your days are blissful.
