A little dusty got to clean them
ya,haha, its a 69' with 68' taillights.Where did you get the 69 Dart ?
So you like Orange, eh? Here's a couple by Highway 61.I collect "Highway 61" 1/18 like the Dart. I also collect orange 1/64 mopar. I have several more orange 1/64 . Back to the 50,s up to 76.
The boy never leaves us. I guess we buy what we didn't have the money for as kids. My color was always orange can't you tell. I even made my own bicycle that looked like a Schwinn Orange Crate when I was younger,
When I was 17 I had a orange 64 1/2 Signet with a big block in it. LOL That was 48 years ago.
You can buy nice clear display cases for them at Hobby Lobby. They cost about $7 with a coupon.
Acme uses a lot of the Highway 61 molds for theirs and they do a great job. Acme is the old GMP. Greenlight I believe actually owns the molds (Highway 61 and GMP) but Acme will commission their own editions. Autoworld also makes some great images. They use Ertl's molds. The older ones have been improved with added detail. The Authentics level releases are very well done. They also have a Legends of the Quarter Mile series of Funnycars in 1/18th. If you like drag cars Supercar Collectibles made plenty. They commissioned Dodge and Plymouth altered wheelbase images from Highway 61 and they turned out incredible. I have almost all of them.Great stuff, guys.
I only have a few 1:18 models. Who makes the best ones these days? I posted in another thread that the Greenlight Challenger from "Vanishing Point" is a gorgeous model but it has a couple of lines that just wrong enough to be annoying.
Then how do you go about obtaining a coat of scale "barn dust?"
