[Iron Oxide]

Anybody have any idea what this console is out of? The lid is heavy die cast. I don't see any numbers stamped into it. This was in the trunk of my Dart when I picked it up.

Nothing I can make out. There are some worn/faded ink stamped numbers on the bottom, but I can't read them.

The trunk was full of numerous other 66 Dart and Valiant parts, plus he installed some Charger-ish sidemarkers... I was wondering if it was Mopar like everything else I found in there.

I think that's it! I looked through a lot of google images previously. Looked up GM restoration parts after you posted that, I think it may be a 63 Impala console. Thank you!

I didn't really have a plan at this point, just going through a pile of parts trying to figure out what's what. It does have some character.
