NASCAR "Silly Season" leading up to the 2020 season

OK, here's a spot to post whatever you see/hear about the NASCAR "Silly Season" before the 2020 season.
Let me start it off with Jimmie ("Seven Time") Johnson and his announcement today that the 2020 season will be his last as a full-time driver.

Meh. They are just a bunch of metrosexuals out there now drivin cars their mamas could probably drive. Is there anybody left that's actually raced on bias ply tires?

I think I heard the same about Paul Menard the other day.

Yea they lost me along the way somewhere. Used to be a big fan. Can't get interested anymore. Tanking tv ratings and sliding race attendance, I ain't alone.

I miss the creativity that the builders used to show in the race cars. The "Ya know .. If we lean this A post over 2 degrees it will flow better and still fit the templates" kinda thing.
