Hey guys I have a slight problem. My floor board under my gas peddle just rusted through a few days ago. I dont have access to a welder at the moment so I can perminatly fix the problem just yet. But I do need a quick fix because the car is my daily driver. The hole is a pretty good size so I am thinking of just bending some sheet metal and just putting it down for something to rest my foot on as a temp fix.

I just need to know if that will work or if anyone has a better idea to get my by untill i can afford to actually fix the problem.

Thanks

depends on how long it will take yo uto be able to afford to really fix it. it would work as a temp fix. just let it be temporary not half a year

you can rivet a floor pan in as well. i did it to a 70 ford truck, use some seam sealer between the old and new metal and slowly button the two together

Or since it is a temp fix, just use sheet metal screws to fasten the two peices together.
