Hey guys, I need some help. I'm hoping to build a 904 to put behind my 500 horsepower 408 stroker. I'm wanting it to be a full manual, reverse pattern auto. I know I'll need a valvebody for this, but I'm wondering what else I'll be needing to build it to handle the motor I'm using. The car probably won't see the track but a little bit of beating on the street from time to time.

Also, I'd need to know what converter to run. I've never ran an auto before, only an a-833. What stall would be best to use? Thanks guys.

Contact Paul at T.C.S. in Langley, B.C. They have all the parts you'll need to build your 904. Paul will also help you to get the RIGHT converter for YOUR APPLICATION. The amount of stall required depends on what you've done to your car. You can't from your information give you any idea about stall speed. Paul will ask you a lot of questions as to what you've done. Their converters are all built in house, carry a warranty, and the company will do a restall for you in the future should it be needed. Paul at one time owned a high performance engine shop and was the crew chief on a pro-mod car, so he's got the experience to get you the parts/converter you need. You can get their 800 phone number off of their web-site www.tcsproducts.com .
