Hello,

Can anyone recommend me some shops I can have the following work done at?

Project Car: Running and Driving 1972 Dodge Dart Swinger LA318 CI. V8

Engine:

Installation of ready to bolt-on complete Heads installed and torqued to specs. (I will provide head and intake gaskets, heads, rocker arms, rods)

Installation of a performance Comp Cam (20-223-20). (I will provide Cam)

Inspect and/or rebuild Edelbrock 1405 4 bbl. carburetor. (if needed)

Tune carburetor

Correctly set timing on the engine.

Exhaust: Currently has single exhaust

Install Dual exhaust (2" or 2.5" piping based on your recommendation)

H-Pipe welded preferably before where the transmission and driveshaft for driveshaft removal purposes.

Flowmaster Performance Mufflers or aggressive tone

I will provide Muffler Tips.
Thank you and I look forward to your response!

Attention, Mods : Anyway we can move this thread , to the appropriate forum? Let's help this guy . Thank You :)

Manny,

You have quite a list there.

For the engine work, I've heard good things about JMS and L&R Engines.

Here's some links:

JMS Racing Engines – We don't crate, we create!
L & R Engines
Superior Automotive Engineering - Line Bore, Cam Bore, Blueprinting, Dyno Tuning

For your exhaust needs, I would go to no other shop than Gene's Mufflers in Downey, CA. They are the only shop that I know of that has a mandrel bender. They made me my custom X-Pipe. I've been going to them for about 20+ years now. Don't waste your time going anywhere else, just go to Gene's!

For Flowmasters, you can order them online, but Team C in Bellflower has competitive pricing. The only thing is that you won't need to pay taxes with Summit Racing, also orders over $100.00 has free shipping.

Here's the link for Team C: Performance Auto Parts in Los Angeles | Team C Performance Center

The Edelbrock carb is super simple to rebuild. There are YouTube videos on it.

I hope this helps.

By the way, I'm in Downey so if you need any help let me know.
