The use of roller cam bearings is to facilitate the use of larger cam lobes, and a stiffer cam core. The larger cam lobes operate with greater valvetrain stability than a smaller base circle lobe, and the stiffer core has less deflection. RCBs are pretty much a race only deal, only high RPM/high load valvetrain engines will see a benefit. IIRC the RCBs will cut off the oil to the factory shaft rocker system, thus requiring pushrod oiling valvetrain (Jesel,T&D). To those who are thinking that RCBs are to reduce friction, that is not the case. Kinda like the ol' 40HP gain from roller rockers BS lol.
