hi: my original rad for 1968 Dodge Dart 270 SL-6/225 is leaking. It requires repair. I need a substitute radiator while I find another OEM (big $$$ of coarse).

What rad should I buy? I just need something temp so I can go to shows and enjoy my 1968 Dodge Dart 270. Lots of fun and you don't see SL-6s in a 1968 Dodge Dart 270

thx..great forum, great people, great DARTs

How bad is the leak? You can go to your local radiator shop and have them solder the leaks

#2898021 for manual trans and #2898023 for automatic is correct for your car.
#2898067 for a/c or high altitude.

Radiator Spectra Premium B517 is what worked in my 66 dart slant. It is the 19 inch with connections for transmission line at the bottom. I got it at Autozone

Get a rad for a '68 Dart I-6 0r '68 dart I-6 with A/C
Sorry.............. I missed your reply. My car is auto, no AC, SL-6. P/N for rad is 2898023

Send pic's pls in PM. My zip code is 05301. Since you are in NH, maybe we can do some business as I am in VT

Unfortunately I have 3 radiators . One is a big block 3 row 22", one is a 26" no A/C and the third is 340 no A/C . None of which will help you . I suggest you contact Gary LaPlante @ Wenkel Auto in Milford ,NH . He has several yards of vintage Mopars . I was there several months ago . You got to remember any used rad could have problems . I suggest having yours repaired or recored .
