Few questions

what year did the 3-2 downshift start in a904’s. Meaning did my 69 have it?

where is the day code on an a994 when ordering parts?

I can help with the first question. The part throttle downshift I believe went into production in 1971. Earlier units can be converted. I believe A&A transmissions has the parts to convert the valve body.

I get a lot of transs that the owners think they've never been apart. A 73 727 came in a few weeks ago..."all original" had a 78 valve body. Ordering parts before it's apart is a newb mistake .
