Today is the 80th anniversary of the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor, HI, that launched the United States into World War II.
Survivors are very few.
Todays Orange County Register newspaper front page asked the question: "Who'll keep telling tale of date of Infamy?" Most of today's young people know of 9/11 but so few know much about Pearl Harbor.
Never forget Pearl Harbor.
Never forget 9/11.

It defined my Father's generation.
When we visited the Arizona Memorial
he was not too happy to see model ships made in Japan in the gift shop. He let them know it too.
He is 2nd from the right, a couple of the other guys did not survive the war.
The day he retired 30 years later.
