I will verify the mounting of the fuse box with manufacturer. As for the price it is $759.

Thanks
James

I checked with the tech and AAW and the fuse panel mounts in the existing spot as does the bulk head connector.

Thanks
James

How long does it take to install in a typical installation?

Installation time would vary depending on the state of the car. Meaning if your car is in the midst of a restoration and you are in the process of reassembly things would already be out of the way which would make the wiring less time consuming. If you were to start with a complete car you would need to remove interior and other items to run the new wiring and grounds to the rear. So time would vary on a vehicle to vehicle basis. For a car that is assembled it would be a good day to day and half job.

Thanks

American auto wire makes a quality product. And this isn't a bad price for what you are getting. It's not some universal kit. It's abody specific. Try wiring your car the right way like this kit allows and see what it costs.

Does this have any advantages over a stock style repro harness that is plug and play?

I notice that this uses the later style fuses....

Are the connectors compatible with the stock connectors in our cars, or how do you hook them up to the headlight switch, wiper switch, dashboard, heater blower switch, flasher, cigarette lighter, etc???

I was at the Grand National Roadster show on Sunday and talked to AAW about this kit.

The guy I talked to said it's pretty complete. It's made to encompass all the different a-body types and options so it may have more circuits that you actually need for your vehicle, such as you might end up with extra light bulb holders and things like that.

I should have asked how thicker the wires are in comparison to stock, but I was pressed for time since I had to work a booth.

We normally have them in stock but we just sold 2 over the weekend so I would have to check. If we do not have it in our warehouse. We then would have it drop shipped directly to you. So we quote 7-10 days on delivery.

Thanks
James
