New Hemi Hood Scoop, What do you guys think?

Hey just got this scoop from glasstek part number GS046, it’s the taller 5 inch version. It’s just sitting on the car but now I’m not sure if it’s too tall. What do you guys think? Problem is I’m in Canada so it cost quite a bit in shipping/duty to get it up here. Your thoughts?

I like it. If it just kills you, you can tape it off and cut it down. Real easy to do.

Ya thanks, I think it’s starting to grow on me. Think it’ll look better once I get the stantions in it and my 15x4 prostars on the front. Eventually I want to get a pin on hemi hood so think I’ll keep it for now and then if it bugs me down the road I’ll order the pin on hood in regular height

Course you know, you'll need a lot more than a slant under the hood to make the scoop work. lol

Thanks I just finished the shop a couple years ago. The Cuda(s), Dart and Viper are mine, the roadrunner on the rotisserie is my dads and is an original hemi car

If it acts like it's gonna get squirrly at high speeds, just drill a few small holes in the back of it to give the air somewhere to escape.

Ok for those of you paying attention to this thread here is the difference between the 5” glasstek hemi scoop and the stock height glasstek hemi scoop. What do you guys like?
