exactly what is the difference between the Hemi bearing and the normal one ?

NOrmal has i.d. to fit 1" 23 spline shaft and Hemi fits 1-3/16" 18 spline shaft.

NOrmal has i.d. to fit 1" 23 spline shaft and Hemi fits 1-3/16" 18 spline shaft.

But the bearing does not ride on the input shaft. It rides on the sleeve over the shaft. The sleeve is part of the front bearing retainer and is the same od regardless.

Throwout bearing for 23 spline has 1.255 inside diameter. 18 spline T O bearing has 1.435 id.
