NEWBIE 1966 Valiant Signet Convertible

Greetings,

Finally starting work on my slant 6 and this looks like the place to be.

Really needed help with: what, where and how for wheels, brake, and suspension set-up. This car will be a driver. Only my second slant. First was in my old step van back in the 80ies. Loved that van!

Located in Mid-Missouri south of STL.

Any suggestions/input truly appreciated.

Cool! It's pretty down that way, all the way to Joplin. Missouri is beautiful on the old, original route 66. Gay Parita was a fun stop.

Right out of the gate with pictures... an excellent start!

I love your car! I owned a hardtop version of it for a very short time (a few weeks): '66 Signet, black over silver two-tone. It's still around, just sitting untouched in a friend's storage barn for more than 15 years now. Seeing yours reminds me how much I love that paint combo on that body style.
