NHL 2024-25

Jets up 3-0 after 2 periods, looks like the regular season Hellebuyck is back, several outstanding saves in the second period, didn't have much work in the first as the Jets came out really strong and limited Dallas to only a few chances. Seguin takes a double minor for high sticking Josh Morrissey 17 seconds into the game and the Jets power play capitalizes. They gotta keep up the pace and continue to wear down the Stars with some solid forechecking and o-zone time.

It’s no wonder these guys only play till there in their early 30s , the body punishment is insane. Don’t get me wrong I absolutely love this game !

After what happened to the Kings, the Oilers deserved that one!

Tough one for the Oilers. They made too many mistakes and I sure don't trust Skinner. He let in a couple of soft ones again.

:D :lol::thumbsup:

Sounds a lot like the kind of guys I used to skate with down at BIG (Bloomington Ice Gardens) on Sunday mornings. Some ex-Stars, a few old Gophers, you know...the "typical" Twin Cities pick-up game.

Until I took a slap shot to the ankle that swelled it up to the size of my thigh, that is. Just a few weeks shy of my 50th (10-1/2 years ago) I decided to give up the game, and all I kept are my skates, my sticks, and my gloves.

Good for you for keeping it up!! I salute you!

Dave Dahlberg grew up in Bloominton then played division 1 hockey somewhere on east coast . Lots of Minnesotans out here including 3 players that graduated from Minnetonka where I grew up .

DOMINANT game by the Cats. 4 powerplays helps to gain momentum lol.
Woll played his heart out.
Best of 3 with home ice.
How bout Edmonton losing with 0.4 seconds left!!!
Great hockey all around!
Go Leafs!

Minnetonka, eh? Well, at least you didn’t skate for Edina (says the Class of ‘83 Wayzata guy)!

Well let's see if Hellebuyck and the Jets can get their **** together and stop the bleeding and get home ice advantage back in best of 3 or end up on the wrong end of a 3-1 hole like Ovechkin and the Caps are facing.

Not looking too good right now, halfway through the third…

But there’s still 10 minutes to play!

Not sure how Jets move fwd with Hellnback? And he just signed a big extension last year, both him and Scheifle. They're not done, but he hasn't shown anything at all in the playoffs.
