I don't have really high expectations for the Jets at this point either, they're off to a pretty weak start, and now Hellebuyck is out for 4-6 weeks after having arthroscopic knee surgery.

Watch out for Habs, they apparently got a good goalie in the minors.
Saw a meme on FB today showing the NHL standings, but upside-down, and the caption said something like, “See? The Maple Leafs are on top after all!”

Sounds like last year's Jets & that didn't get them to the promised land, only the President's cup.
They are a hurting team
Goaltending isn't great when defensive play sucks (I know...spoken like an old goalie
). The problem is that a bunch of players are underperforming. Its a team issue but a couple players will pay the price and they will still suck defensively.

Heading for Winnipeg again next year, if I remember right. Some of the players are planning to try and get Dustin Byfuglien back for the alumni game, he's still insanely popular with the fans, and I think it would be great.
Meanwhile, the Jets have been getting their asses handed to them regularly of late. Who says goaltending is not that important?
