It is 17 1/4'' wide with a 1'' drop base and holds a 10 3/4'' inside diameter filter, with the cool shelf around the back of it to protect the vacuum lines.

One more bump to the top, I checked shipping on this big breather base to go to Ohio and it about $23.00 because of the size of the box needed to ship it, I will most likely end up keeping it and hang it on the wall when it is needed here on the hill.
