No, he is still with us, but not driving anymore, I believe that the family will ask me if I want to purchase it when the time comes to sell it.

Wow, that brings back some memories. I had an '89 S10 2WD standard cab truck with the 4.3L, auto, with a 3.42 posi. That truck was quick. It would bark the tires on the 1-2 upshift. It surprised a lot of other cars at the stop light drag races.
