You can hold a shop vac over the intake bolt hole and shoot in brake clean. That really works good. ;)
 
I like hylomar but any non hardening sealer works- also on trans pans
just stay away from silicone
actually a hardening sealer works- once- till you have to move the bolt
 
The middle 2 bolts (on each side) were loose. I still needed a wrench to loosen them, but they were NOT torqued down. The remaining 8 bolts (2 fore and 2 aft on each side) were nice and tight. I removed the 4 loose bolts, saw they did have thread sealant, cleaned them, reapplied sealant, re-installed them and torqued them down. I will leave it sit for a few days (bad weather here for the next few days plus the Holiday) before I get a chance to drive.
